NRACF Welcomes  Margret Swanson, 
Executive Director
 
Margret Swanson has dedicated her career to nonprofit management. She has expertise in fund development, strategic planning, marketing, and program development. She directed fund development at the Minnesota Humanities Center, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, during the past five years. Previously, Margret directed fund development and marketing at Textile Center, a nationally renowned fiber arts organization based in Minneapolis. Margret has provided fundraising and planning consulting services to numerous cultural and social service organizations across the region as well as to K-12 school districts. She is the capital campaign co-chair and former board president of Camp Olson YMCA in Longville,  Minnesota.
 
Margret received a bachelor’s degree from Carleton College, majoring in   Studio Art. She lives in Mahtomedi, Minnesota with her husband, Mark Muellerleile, and she has two grown children, Peter and Elise. Margret maintains a passion for the arts and she has been toiling away on her backyard shade garden for 20 years. She enjoys hiking on trails near and far.
Margret will office in New Richmond in the Property Executives Realty office on the corner of 6th Street and Knowles Ave.

The New Richmond Area Community Foundation is the center point for service-based philanthropy, creating collaborative partnerships that identify needs in the communities we serve. We develop strategies to provide citizens in these communities with diverse opportunities to meet these needs through their commitment and the giving of time and financial resources.
